How It Works
Convert a whole shoot in three simple steps
Add files
Drag RAW files anywhere onto the Mac window, or use Import Files… and Import from Photos… — the same two importers you'll find on iPhone and iPad.
Tune & preview
Set white balance, recover highlights, adjust brightness, and choose the output format, quality, and size. The preview updates live, and one click applies your settings to the whole batch.
Convert the batch
Press Convert and watch progress per file. On the Mac the results land in the output folder you chose; on iPhone and iPad you share or save them straight to Photos or Files.

Which devices can I run RAW Batch on?
RAW Batch 4.1 runs on any Mac with macOS 13 or later — Apple Silicon or Intel — and RAW Batch 2.0 runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later. The Mac version adds drag-and-drop importing and folder output, while the iOS version is built around importing from Files and Photos and sharing the results straight back out. On iPad the app uses a two-column workspace: the batch on the left, settings for the selected file on the right.
What can I do with the free version?
The free plan includes everything — camera RAW input, all output formats, RAW development controls, 16-bit TIFF and PNG export, rotation and scaling, and presets — with up to 5 conversions per day and no subscription required. Pro removes the daily limit.
How does RAW Batch Pro work?
Pro removes the daily conversion limit. It's available as a yearly subscription ($9.99/year) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($24.99). Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store and can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple ID.
Which camera RAW formats are supported?
RAW Batch reads CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF, RW2, and PEF, plus common formats like JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, BMP, GIF, and JPEG-2000. Unsupported files are skipped with a note when you import them.

How do I import photos?
On the Mac, drag files anywhere onto the window, or use Import Files… and Import from Photos…. On iPhone and iPad, use the same two importers from the toolbar, or open a RAW file in RAW Batch straight from Files.
Are my original files modified?
No. RAW Batch opens each source file read-only and writes new files to the output folder you choose on the Mac, or exports them through the share sheet on iPhone and iPad. Your originals are never modified or overwritten.
