What can I do with the free version?

The free plan includes everything — camera RAW input, all output formats, RAW development controls, and presets — with up to 5 conversions per day and no subscription required. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited conversions.

How does the Premium plan work?

Premium removes the daily conversion limit. It's available as a yearly subscription ($9.99/yr) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($24.99). All purchases are handled by Apple on the Mac App Store.

Which camera RAW formats are supported?

RAW Converter Ultimate reads CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF, RW2, and PEF, plus common formats like JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, BMP, GIF, and JPEG-2000.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

Never. All conversion happens locally on your Mac — no cloud upload, no accounts, no tracking. What happens on your Mac stays on your Mac.

How do I import photos?

Drag and drop files anywhere in the window, or use Import Files… and Import from Photos… in the app. Unsupported files are ignored with a note.
